Meet Brittany
Founder of The Equine Matchmaker by Short E
Hey there, I’m Brittany—a wife, mom, horse girl for life, and the heart behind The Equine Matchmaker by Short E. Horses have been part of my story for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my life learning how to understand them, train them, and—maybe most importantly—match them with the right people.
I grew up in the show pen, competing in APHA and PtHA all-around events, before shifting gears to Reining in high school. That passion took me all the way to riding on an NCAA equestrian team in college. Since then, I’ve worn many hats in the horse world... trainer, barn instructor, therapeutic riding coach, and most recently, student again as I’ve learned the ropes of sorting and continued developing my own little mare.
Through it all, one thing has remained constant: my love for connecting horses with humans who truly fit. Whether it’s helping someone rehome a trusted partner or guiding a first-time buyer toward the right match, I’ve always had an eye for seeing both the horse and the heart.
With over a decade of experience in sales and marketing, and a lifelong education in horsemanship, I created The Equine Matchmaker by Short E to offer a better way to buy and sell. Honest communication, safe placements, and real support from start to finish. Because horses deserve more than a listing, and people deserve more than a guess.
